Using similar artistic materials as those used for creating magazine covers, such as modelling clay/plasticine, glitter and beads, we can also talk about biology to children. So far, I have conducted several educational workshops, and below are photo reports from two that were thoroughly documented. During one of the workshops, we discussed how our immune system fights pathogens. We learned about phagocytosis using macrophages as an example; about the super-skills of neutrophils that create traps like spider webs; we also saw how some cells can have cytotoxic effects and make holes in those infected by a virus.

Another workshop scenario focused on the coronavirus. We colored it and built models using modeling clay, trying to understand what it looks like from the outside and what its inside contains.
