Hanna Salmonowicz Sci-Art

Hanna Salmonowicz Sci-Art is where I share my work in the field of scientific art.

Covers feature my designs for scientific journal covers that relate to original discoveries. These are either metaphors or artistic visions that help make new scientific findings memorable and recognizable.

Graphics include illustrations that are part of review articles, graphical abstracts, conference presentations, or grant proposals—places where scientific ideas benefit from accurate visualizations.

Workshops showcase photo reports from educational workshops for children. Since one of my favorite tools for designing covers is colorful clay/plasticine, involving children in science art to teach basic biological concepts has been a natural extension of my activities.

Why to collaborate?

Let's combine art & science and inspire curiosity together.

I hold two Master's and a PhD degree in biological and biomedical sciences. Currently, I work as a scientist in the field of molecular and cell biology. My interests revolve around ageing, mitochondria and metabolism. Sci-Art draws from solid science education - the goal is to communicate the most accurate knowledge!

Scientific accuracy

My role is to come up with ideas on how to depict science and execute it. However, between the two, there is a lot of room for a conversation with clients who become a part of the creation process - sharing their visions, specifying needs, refining scientific message.

Involving clients in the process

Considering that I am a full-time scientist, I commit to Sci-Art projects only as often as I can truly dedicate myself. Because of this, I believe I have infused genuine heart and passion into the past projects.
